Citadel - Old Bar Fortress

The Citadel in Stari Bar is an important part of the Old Bar fortress and was built in the 17th century during Venetian rule. It served as a last refuge in times of threat and today offers visitors well-preserved walls, towers and historic buildings to explore. From the Citadel you can also enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the Adriatic Sea.
