The Würzburg Residence is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered the most unified and extraordinary of all baroque palaces of its kind. Completed in 1781, it is now one of the most important baroque palace complexes in Europe. The Würzburg Residence also became famous through the film “The Three Musketeers” with Orlando Bloom, Christoph Waltz and Milla Jovovich, for which it served as a filming location.
