The former Central Railway Station of Paraguay in Asunción, also known as the “Estacion Central del Ferrocarril,” is a historic building that reflects the importance of the railway in Paraguay’s past. Built in 1861, it served as the central transportation hub for railway traffic in the country. The neoclassical-style building features impressive architectural details and was once a symbol of progress and commerce in Paraguay. Although the Central Railway Station is no longer used for railway traffic, it is an important historical monument and a popular venue for cultural events and exhibitions.
